Tremolo circuit: electronic schematic & demo. A circuit with many other possibilities

Published
Please read the description/textbox first. Electronic schematic of a tremolo circuit, with many other properties, say not only usable for audio.

Everything is told in the video, so I don’t have to tell more about this tremolo circuit, usable for e.g. music and synthesizer applications.

You can do many experiments: changing the amplitude (“deepness”) of the tremolo effect, by pinching the input audio or or higher HF signal(s) off more or less, with (say) the help of a 50 K potentiometer.

Or by using different capacitor values (Cx and Cy) in the low-Hertz oscillator circuit, or the value of the "smoothing" capacitor on the base of the first transistor (now 47 uF).

Via that you can change the times during which the oscillator gives out an on-off signal (AC or DC) and not only that: it will also change the time of (say) “attack” and “decay” of the tremolo effect.

Demonstrated in this video by using completely different values for Cx and Cy.

MORE video's about the basic circuit (low Hertz oscillator) that was used in the past are on my YT Channel.

E.g. this LIGHTHOUSE LED LAMP (ambient light) is is here https://youtu.be/o7IAv5EhhB4

I have called it "the lighthouse circuit" because it can, in a very slow way, switch on a LED lamp (its light emittance, also different colors, via the supply voltages of different LED colors, they all need their specific voltage to make them light up on color X or Y) and after that, make in a very smooth way that the LED LAMP diminishes its light.

Can be realized with the help of a simple 2 transistor circuit. Of course: when it is able to give all the LED's (LED colors) their specific voltage during say a certain time, set by an oscillator.

These lamps sold on the www as "ambient lamps" etc. You can make them. Of course: (I think...) with a higher cost compared to the factory made ambient lamps/lights. Anyway: try, test, explore, that is the aim of my YT Channel. 5 September 2022.

My book about audio is/was published on the website of LULU. It does not give info about these specific circuits, be aware of that.

But a lot on making easy (by the way: simple) audio amplifiers and the properties of sound and how to create a smooth and easy sound in living rooms, with amplifiers in the 5-10 Watt range.

Furthermore: many audio amplifiers + their descriptions and schematics and sound tests in reality are on my YT Channel. Go e.g. to the “looking glass” on my YT Channel “Radiofun232” and type keywords like “audio”, “audio amplifier”, “Watt”, “transistor amplifier”, “amplifier”, “pre”, or “pre amplifier” etc.

My You Tube channel trailer is here: https://youtu.be/xbgQ8T3oqh4

When you search, search always “NEWEST FIRST” to get the right overview. Like I told: you can also search via the “looking glass” on my Channel trailer via keywords like ”audio”, “radio”, “amplifier”, “filter”, “Shortwave”, “transistor”, “FET”, “oscillator”, “generator”, “switch”, “schmitt trigger” etc; so the electronic subject you are interested in.

My books about electronics & analog radio technology are available via the website of "LULU”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there.

https://www.lulu.com/search?adult_audience_rating=00&page=1&pageSize=10&q=Ko+Tilman

I keep all my YT videos constant actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. Search there, and avoid my circuits that are republished, re-arranged, re-edited on other websites, giving not probable re-wiring, etc. Some persons try to find gold via my circuits. I take distance from all these fake claims. I cannot help that these things happen. Upload 5 September 2022.
