Triad RackAmp 300 Unboxing Home Theater Subwoofer Amplifier

Published
I'm replacing my older model Triad RackAmp 350 models with the newer style RackAmp 300 models for living room home theater Triad Bronze in-wall subwoofers. I was never really a big fan of the operation of the 350 amplifiers. While they had lots options and a network UI, they were never actually updated and ran fairly awkwardly and slowly in the menus. Performance was fine, but with an audible noise floor and such. I hope the RackAmp 300 will a better made and simpler all-around performer.

In this video, I'm unboxing one of my two RackAmp 300 amplifiers and covering its features and my use case. I purchased these with my own dollars from my local friend and integrator Dan DeCarlo of AudioVision here in southeast Michigan.
