Vintage Marshall & Orange Tones Part II: Both Amps TOGETHER & LOUD!

Published
A few weeks ago, I put out a video comparing the fundamental tones of the classic Marshall JTM45 and Orange 'Pics Only' circuits - and it was very well received! Two classic amps sounding at their very best :-) But I mentioned at the end of that video that I was going to shoot a Part 2, running both of them together for the ultimate in British amp tone (...maybe!)

So that's what we're going to do today...get those two amps nice and loud, and see what they sound like firing at the same time! I'm going to set the Orange a little cleaner than the JTM - that's just where it feels like it's happiest. But I'll throw a classic rock guitar at them both, packed with vintage-correct ThroBak PAFs, and add a vintage-correct Rangemaster-style treble booster into the mix too.

What do you think? Epic tones? Or not for you? Comment below!
