I wanted to see what it would take to create an awesome guitar tone from a bad guitar amp. Is it possible? We can't all own the best guitar amplifiers. Are there some techniques we can explore to squeeze some good tones out of a sub par amplifier? That's what I did. I took my old highschool era guitar amp and put some Electric Guitar Recording Techniques to the test. I also had to employ some serious Electric Guitar Mixing Techniques to make that happen. No Tube Amps were used to make this video. Just my old, solid state Yamaha JX20 amp. The thing sounds awful!!! Join me to see what's possible!
